Today I decided to start a small local pumpkin growers club. The purpose of this group is to have fun growing pumpkins but, more importantly, to carve out time for ourselves so we can be better partners, parents, and people at a time when social gathering needs a kickstart. There are bigger, possibly better-organized clubs, but they are at a distance. This group is informal ( I mean, I just thought of it yesterday), and my intent is to use this blog to gather helpful resources for all of us new growers, myself included. The goal is to have fun.
